Regardless of the heel height that happens to be in vogue, whether a neck breaking five inches or not, there is always a hungry market for shoes that are chic and practical. For most of us, that roughly translates to a heel of under three inches.

Since I consider myself a part of this low-heel-lusting market, I have to applaud Jeffrey Campbell for their latest batch of footwear. They rip off the popular styles, just like the other Steve Madden level shoe makers of the world, but they make one tiny change: they lower the heel height. It's so simple, but it's so smart.*

You've seen these before... but now they have heels under 3"!

According to Zappos, there are 14 new styles still to come from the thoughtful hand of Mr. Campbell. I'm hoping those shoes continue this trend.

*Note that I'm not endorsing Jeffrey Campbell products, but simply encouraging other makers of footwear to consider the stylish but practical-minded customer.

the shoes are adorable, the heel height is perfect, and the price isn't too terribly bad, but do they make size 11s?
You need lower heels too? I am 5' 8", and feel like a giant, and in super pain when I wear heels. The first leaves me out of practise and causes the second.
N, that's the real question now isn't it?

ScarlettHolly, I'm 5'11" so I understand. I'm comfortable with my height, and I don't need to be 3+ inches taller!
