Why is it, in this day and age of voice over IP, accessible travel, and increasing global awareness... why is it that I can't buy this damn skirt?



I've waited for a year for it to come to the US La Redoute site, and still it thwarts me with its UK-ness. Its tunic and shirt brethren have made the arduous journey to the States, but still the skirt has not. La Redoute customer service tells me that somewhere in their corporate offices, someone decided this skirt didn't need to sell in some countries.

Why?

Can't help you buy the skirt. Though it is very nice. Though the marketing aspect may explain why Bennetton looked better in Europe. I agree with you that it seems to be exceedingly hard to find things that should be easy.

Interesting design.

Nice design! I guess Marketing has its own conundrums! But why are you relying on geographical barriers to buy the skirt. Isnt it available online, or can u talk to he designers directly?

I've purchased a few things online at LaRedoute but I haven't been as excited about them when I received them.

I found a new website at shopgoldyn.com and they have several french designers on their site. Plus a bunch of other indie labels. Check it out as they've got french clothing but distribution is state side.
