I have a soft spot for the fading concept of anonymity. My age is somewhere between 20 and 40, I live in Pennsylvania, what else is there to know?
I co-run an online fashion retail company, where I do some of my favorite things: shop, style outfits, and write. In my free time I play at being a freelance journalist, an editor for a small independent publication, and a maker of juvenile crafts. I have a degree in engineering from an expensive university, I don't eat sugar or meat, and I speak two languages. Like most of us living in modernity, I frequently feel torn in several directions at once.
As my tagline indicates, I believe in the concept of style. That is, fashion with a higher purpose than buying for buying's sake. I realize that over-consumption runs the American economy, but no one says I have to like it.
Perhaps the most important thing to know about me is that I have a muse. Like Hepburn for Givenchy, the inspiration for much of my "work" is my sister N. She provides ideas, encouragement, and often flat-out meanness at every turn. Without her, Style Tribe would not be whatever it is.
